Integrated Sound Cards?

Does XP tend to clash with these sound devices? -Sound comes & goes in my one & only game on my Pc.

if that one game is the only problem you have with sound, it could be the game. they usually have patches and fixes for this on the site for the game if it is a problem with the software. on-board sound usually is very good and stable.

I agree back in the old days some onboard sound devices were a bid flakey but now they are all pretty stable especialy in Windows XP.
