Games suddenly crashing...

Im running WinXP on a AMD 2500+ and 512 RAM.

I recently reinstalled my OS, and now games crash regularly (for example Far Cry, Call Of Duty and Grand Prix 4).

The game freezes, the sound can still be heard looping.
A window pops up, where u can click for more information (technical info).

Anyone here capabal of interpreting this tech info?
If so, tell me which part of it to post here (its alooot of numbers and stuff), and ill gladly do it

All I really want it a general idea of what part of the systme is causing it (RAM, GPU, etc.)

Ive looked at the system log, but no logs are made when it crashes.

Help much apreciated...

chipset drivers for your motherboard, and video drivers for you display adapter would be the best place to start. if you have a intel chipset you will want to add the intel application accelerator after you get everything else installed. sis has a ide controller that is basically the same thing. via is all in one. nvidia chipsets are like via and install the whole thing at one time too.
