selection missing on windows update

When I upgraded to XP Pro, I could have sworn that I saw a checkbox for "turn off automatic updates." Now I don't see it anymore.

This is what shows on systems-automatic updates:

Keep my computer up to date..........

Then underneath there is a heading for Settings

-notify me before downloading any updates........
-download the updates automatically and notify me.........
-automatically download the updates.......

Where is the check box for "turn off automatic updates?
And how can I get this selection back?

I would disable it too. If your running a Game it can cause it to crash sometimes. Its a right bugger if you havent saved your progress in the game

This is what your Automatic Updates box should look like.

AutoUpdates

There is a checkbox next to "Keep my computer up to date ....."
