Graphics Card Problem!!

i just bought halo!

i have a nVidia Ge-Force FX 128mb 5200 Agp slot graphics card.

i was told halo only takes up 32 mb video memory. in fact it says that on the case!!

"minimum requirments-32mb 3d video, ETC

i have a 128mb for god sakes!!
but when i set the resolution in halo to about 1000x1000(i dont know exact)

it lags like hell!! is there something wrong with my card?? if so, please tell me!!

Do you have the latest drivers? The new 56.64 for nVidia Forceware came out on March 15th.
