BAH! Norton = Devil! Always leaves remnants of the progam lying everywhere, like a bad girlfriend who forgot half of her crap when she moved out...
Should be able to do a regedit (in Run) and find all the old norton crap, then do a file search for any other file names you get your hands on, like "C:/WINDOWS/System32/NvCpl.dll" Although that one is probably the comp trying to start it up, cuz its in the registry, and it's not there from the uninstall. St00pid Norton. Learn to get rid of registry on your uninstall. Thats my 2 cents, although this might just be all hot air.
