Question what processes do i need running???

hello all, i put a link to a picture of my task manager.

i need to know which process that i need running and which ones i dont need. this reason being is so that i can free ram/save ram ETC.

this should be easy, please assist!!

ok i tried clicking the link, and it wont work, (stupid free accounts, lol)

i have a suggestion, just copy and paste the URL and then it SHOULD open the picture

The minimum processes that XP needs to run depends on how you configured your computer. You can experiment by trying to close Processes, but if XP or other applications depend on it to run, XP won't allow you to close it (I think) . Rebooting should resolve any problem caused by killing a task in taskmanager (I think).

Proceed at You Own Risk. I don't think it's a good idea to do this.


I'm referring to processes you can't identify. If you know what something is, then use your own judgement.

hmm, ok i guess.

i will try to end each process indvidual and see if XP NEEDS IT.

but if somebody knows wether or not i should keep these oen, please stop me before i mess anything up lol..

and please keep replying with messages if you know which processes i need open!!

dude are you kidding? i love that guy!!(not literaly) lol..i knew about black viper for a long time.

i just put this post up so i could be lazy and see if anybody would just tell me by the picture i gave to close which certain processes and whish ones to leave open,

i could do it myself but im too lazy ahhahaha
