Troubleshooting Poor Sound quality from specific file types
If you’re experiencing bad sound quality from only specific file types, it’s more likely that the codec is either damaged or just badly written. If it’s the former, all you need to do is reinstall the codec, but if it’s the latter, you need to wait for a patched version that fixes the error. In case of any problems with specific filetypes, we recommend first installing the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack before going any further.
