The system canít detect either of two drives connected on the same channel

Cause: This occurs when both drives are set to either Master or Slave.

Solution: Check the jumper connection on both devices and set one as the Master and the other as the Slave. In newer motherboards, you can set both the devices to cable select—this takes care of the problem in an efficient manner.
