USB pen drive is not recognised by Windows

Cause: Windows 98 does not have inbuilt support for USB pen drives.

Solution: Install the correct USB driver on the Windows 98 system to enable support for USB pen drives. These drivers will most likely be provided on the driver CD that accompanied the pen drive. You can also download the drivers from the USB drive manufacturer’s Web site.
