Difference between Intel 1st generation and 2nd generation core processor

The 2nd generation Intel Core processor also known as Sandy Bridge processor which is developed on the 32nm die and contain an on-die graphic processor unit which shares L3 cache. These are the first processors to integrate the processor, memory controller and graphics on the same die. Alike to the 1st generation, this processor will be available in three: i3, i5 and i7.

Performance Difference:
* Around 15% more CPU performance
* Around twice the integrated graphics performance
* Runs cooler
* Uses less power
