What about the updates that have been made to Internet Explorer 6 since the initial load? I feel I need to reload IE 6 because I am not connecting to all sites that I could at one time. I have SP2 loaded.

If you don't have a SP2 CD it seems you are screwed.

The path is where your CD is, most systems are D: or E: The navigate (browse) to i386 folder and you will see a file called IEXPLORE.EX_, this is the compressed iexplorer.exe file.
It works fine.

On Comment #11, the user said they were unsure where to find the iexplorer.exe on the Win XP CD SErvice Pack 2. It can be found in I386 directory!

I found this tip to be very helpful! I would suggest that you add to make sure that the user has the correct Win XP CD (i.e., service pack 2). Once I had that CD, the install went without a problem. Thanks again.

It states the file 'IEXPLORE.EXE on Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 CD is needed. Type the path where the file is located. I have no knowledge of where that path is!
