1 Install old windows NT driver (Mustek V2.0)
2 Locate and note the name of the driver sys file located in c:\windows\system32\drivers (can be either a4sii300.dll or ab306p.sys)
3 Instal the scaner driver for UMAX 610P scaner included in XP CD
4 Start REGEDIT and search for umaxpcls.sys and replace this entry with the driver identified in step 2.
5 Restart Windows
