How to get My Briefcase in windows xp

How to get My Briefcase in windows xp

Click Start, click Run, type in syncapp and click OK.


An icon should appear on your desktop that says "My Briefcase".

double click it.

it will come up with this window that tells you how to use it.

thats it

    I use My Briefcase everyday so when I got my new laptop with XP and it wasn't there I was lost Thanks Heaps You Saved The Day

    I had searched Microsoft.com, searched in my OS for "my briefcase" and found nothing. Googled it, clicked on your site. Ten seconds later I had it. Nice and concise.

    Thanx for the tip. It isn't listed anyplace else, including MICROSOFT. Is this a known problem for some XP home installs? If so why isn't it listed in thier database?

    I just realized the importance when I have now two computers, one for work/office, one for home but I still need to work at home. No need to bring my working laptop to home.

    this synapp is very useful. But Can anyone advise how to restore Briefcase menu item option to the XP Windows Explorer File > New, MENU . Mine has somehow disappeared.

    I have now the option to create new briefcase. IT is actually at my desktop. However, When I try to create a new one elsewhere, I cannot get this option from "File/New/Briefcase" This option is not there. How can I resolve the problem?

    "syncapp" could not be found. Make sure you spelled the name correctly and repeat.

    i use my briefcase everyday. it is useful to me. Due to some virus problem i formatted the system and installed windows service pack 3, my briefcase option wasn't there. Thanks a lot if anybody helps me.
