Remove Logoff From Start menu

1. Start Regedit

2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion \Policies\Explorer

3.Create a DWORD value named StartMenuLogoff

4. Give it a value of 1 Restart you computer and Logoff is no longer in the Start Menu

    the button is still there. granted you cant log off but it is there. not removed

    Like some other said, the tweak does NOT work on all machines (win. XP pak 2) the button is still there. granted you cant log off but it is there. not removed

    TWEAKUI DOSEN'T REMOVE "LOG OFF" NEITHER DOES CHANGING THE VALUE IN THE REG.

    Worked when I used Value Name: NoLogOff instead.

    It can also be done as go to start->run type gpedit.msc A screen will come in this go to: UserConfiguration->Administrator template and in this go to Start menu option. It will ask to disable/enable the logoff button. Disable it.
