Enable Hibernation

Enable Hibernation
Click on the start button and select turn off computer. Then hold down the shift key and the hibernate button will be shown. Click it and your computer will enter into hibernation.

    Step 1 : install the hot fix KB893056 from support.microsot.com step 2 : Copy & Paste the below Code in notepad then Save as Hibernate.Reg and Execute Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREPoliciesMicrosoftWindowsSystemShutdown] "ShowHibernateButton"=dword:00000001 "HibernateAsDefault"=dword:00000001 step 3 : that's it.     The microsoft help is missing the word Policies the one below works
