Re-enable folder protection

Often they are of an annoyance for advanced users but can be a lifesaver for beginners.  Below I will show you how to turn them back on using the registry after you have clicked to view the files which turns them off.

Start Regedit.  If you are unfamiliar with regedit please refer to our FAQ on how to get started.
Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ Explorer\
WebView\BarricadedFolders
Once there locate the folder that you want to turn the protection back on.
Right click on them and select Modify
Change the value to 1
Reboot your computer.
