I had a problem with my keyboard (did not know at the time) and when trying to open "My Pictures" in thumbnail view, all of the names of the folders had been removed. I could not find out through the help and support on the computer how to fix the problem. This has helped greatly and also identified that I have a problem with the shift key sticking on my keyboard.
